Calling all Girl Scouts! Bring your families and friends to the Atlanta Botanical Garden to explore and discover the amazing world of nature. Visit discovery stations about bees and pollination, musical instruments made from plants, insect-eating plants, and seeds from 10 a.m. – noon. Don’t miss an encore exhibition of artist Niki de Saint Phalle’s monumental, whimsical sculptures, returning to celebrate the Garden’s 50th anniversary. The exhibition features 42 vibrant works, including her iconic “Nanas,” in what’s believed to be the largest presentation of her art ever shown in North America.
Then join Rene and Llilian of Havana Son for performances at 10 and 10:45 a.m. as they lead a whirlwind musical tour through Latin America. Their itinerary includes stops in Cuba, Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Colombia, Panama, and Puerto Rico. Children will have the opportunity to sample each country’s unique rhythms and sounds. The whole family will be up and dancing along!
Atlanta Botanical Garden fun patches will be for sale in the Gift Shop.
Tickets: $10 per Girl Scout and $10 per Girl Scout’s Guest (up to 3 guests per Scout)
Free for members

Parking is not included; no outside food in the Garden. We may cancel or move indoors if rain, cold temperatures or inclement weather make outdoor programming impractical. To check the status, email classes@atlantabg.org.
