In the spirit of Dr. Doris Derby and her love for the arts, the office of Cultures, Communities and Inclusion will host an open mic that celebrates poetry and spoken word, singers, musicians, and other artistry. BRING YOUR TALENT!

Doris Adelaide Derby was an American activist and documentary photographer. She was the adjunct associate professor of anthropology at Georgia State University and the founding director of the Office of African American Student Services and Programs.
