Celebrate youth voice through poetry as teens share their work, and the YPL finalists compete to be the 2026 Atlanta Youth Poet Laureate!
Teen poets from across metro Atlanta are invited to share their work at the Atlanta Youth Poet Laureate Open Mic + Poetry Slam.
Held in collaboration with Urban Word, each Spring, VOX ATL names a teen (ages 13-18) to serve as the AYPL. After the open mic, this year's five AYPL finalists will compete in a slam to win the title.
