Tara Atlanta presents the Oscar-qualifying screenings of “Baristas vs Billionaires,” the new documentary about Starbucks workers inspired to create the brand’s first union. Narrated by Susan Sarandon, the eye-opening documentary is a fast-paced, feature-length film that investigates and exposes Starbucks’ illegal union-busting tactics. Baristas activate and explain in their own words how they’re going to win this fight for their union—Starbucks Workers United (SBWU)—and their livelihoods! The film recently won the top award of the Ethos International Film Festival and Best West New York Feature prize at the Buffalo International Film Festival.
