Madison in May Spring Tour of Homes & Gardens

Madison, Georgia, one of the most walkable towns in the South, will host the 2026 Madison Tour of Homes & Gardens on May 15–16. Hosted by the Madison-Morgan Cultural Center, the self-guided spring tradition invites visitors to step inside a curated collection of the town’s most architecturally significant private residences and gardens, including the storied Boxwood (c. 1851), known for its preserved interiors, historic gardens, and ties to local legend. Additional homes on the tour range from a renovated Craftsman designed by one of Georgia’s first female architects to a Georgian cottage with a custom addition and a Folk Victorian residence dating to the early 1900s. Taking place daily from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the fully self-paced tour allows guests to explore at their own rhythm using digital or printed maps, with tickets available in advance and on-site.
