CRITIC’S PICK:

Atlanta BeltLine Fest at Pittsburgh Yards — The Beltline’s newly opened Southside Trail will host a weekend festival with live World Cup screenings, including the Spain vs. Saudi Arabia match taking place at Mercedes Benz Stadium on Sunday, Jun. 21. There also will be live music and DJs; local food and retail vendors; cultural art performances; family-friendly programming and “immersive experiences,” although they haven’t made clear what that means. BeltLine executive Clyde Higgs says the aim of the festival is to have “a free, welcoming space where local residents, entrepreneurs, artists and communities can celebrate together and visitors from around the world can experience the culture that defines our city.” — Kevin C. Madigan
