Learn how to create fear, tension, and unease in under 1,000 words. In this two-hour flash fiction workshop, participants will explore the art of compressed horror through atmosphere, suspense, ambiguity, and the uncanny. Drawing from psychological horror, gothic fiction, and the strange everyday, writers will experiment with crafting stories that unsettle, disturb, or surprise. Through close reading, guided prompts, and dedicated writing time, participants will draft an original horror flash piece.
