REMI
REMI (Formerly Known As Aremitro$) is an Arkansas-born R&B singer/songwriter whose music explores love, loss, healing, and self-discovery with an emotional honesty listeners can not only hear, but feel.
Born and raised in Arkansas, REMI was shaped by a household where music and faith were deeply intertwined. Raised in a strong church environment and surrounded by gospel from an early age, she developed her voice through both inheritance and experience. As the daughter of celebrated gospel singer Tim Rogers, Remi learned to sing under the guidance of her father and late mother.
Drawing from both R&B and gospel, REMI’s artistry reflects a blend of plush vocals, vulnerability, and lived experience. Inspired by artists like Brandy, Lauryn Hill, Justin Bieber, Chris Brown, SZA, and Kehlani, she brings a modern yet deeply felt approach to her music—one that prioritizes honesty, intimacy, and storytelling. What began as a gift eventually became something more personal: the studio transformed into a safe space where she could process what she was going through and express it without judgment.
As her profile continues to rise, REMI is steadily establishing herself as one of R&B’s promising new voices. From touring with emerging R&B act TheARTI$T to collaborating with rising star Zae France, her trajectory has also drawn the attention of super producers Timbaland and Hitmaka, signaling an artist with both cultural and industry appeal.
