Gov't Mule AND ZIGGY Marley

CRITIC’S PICK
Sat., Oct. 10
Gov’t Mule, Ziggy Marley, Coca-Cola Roxy — The Mule keeps kicking as the veteran jam band whose influences are so varied, you don’t know if you’ll get a blues-based, space rock, Southern rock or jazz-inflected show. More likely frontman Warren Haynes will steer his ship in a handful of directions. But since this year’s excursion, dubbed Dreaming the Same Dream, features Ziggy Marley (they co-wrote the song from which the tour from Bob, along with other Ziggy hits and even a few selections from Mule’s most recent recording, Peace…Like a River (2023). It’s the first time these two longtime friends have joined for a full tour, so expect surprises. — Hal Horowitz
