Daniel “Womz” Womack—founding member of indie-rock athletes Futurebirds—and Johnny “Champ” Delaware, known for his work with Susto, The Artisinals, and his acclaimed solo catalog, first began making music together in 2016. They talked for years about starting a band, but life kept getting in the way—until now.
Blending their shared love of 90’s pop-country hooks, rock ’n’ roll grit, and unapologetic showmanship, they’ve created a world of their own: STARBORO. Complete with an all-star lineup featuring Kevin “KEVTRON” Early (Susto, The High Divers, Hannah Wicklund) on bass, Wolfgang “WOLFDAWG” Zimmerman (Band of Horses, Susto, Wolfhawg, many more) on drums, and Cannon Rogers (Athens, Ga rising legend) on pedal steel and guitar they’ve curated one of the most exciting new bands of 2026 and are destined for explosive growth in the coming years.

Athens, Georgia’s Heffner works with a speed and urgency of a young band but with a sense of lyrical wisdom and musical breadth of a much more seasoned group. With all the forcefulness and immediacy of 21st century power pop, classically aggressive post punk, and even sections of ’70s glam. Their albums saw them through new opportunities with the likes of Futurebirds, The Stews, Modern Skirts, Fastball and Death From Above 1979. With the recent release of their latest singles “Since I Last Confessed”, “Shark Song” & “Poison Arrow” it’s apparent that whatever comes next will be their best yet, and as a live act they have blossomed into a must see group keeping the spirit of southern rock n roll alive and well. 2026 will see Heffner’s busiest year as they tour with The Thing and ready the release of their 4th album.

TEDO STONE
Tedo Stone has been a fixture in the Georgia music scene for almost 15 years. Based in Covington, with a band stationed in Athens & Columbus, Tedo explores the themes of embracing his inner wild rocker tendencies while balancing a career and family life.
Tedo’s 5th studio album is called “Back 9 of Life” a nod to his other favorite pastime while his music career has evolved into a place where he relishes in the chaos of balancing everything he wants out of this world creatively and with the ones he loves.
