Southern Surf Stomp, The Garden Club at Wild Heaven West End - It's cowabunga time once again as this annual festival featuring eight surf bands you've likely not heard of unload their twang, reverb and maybe some cheesy Farfisa over a daylong shindig that gets bigger and better every year. Besides the music, this event attracts cool, retro artists and quirky bric-a-brac merchants seldom found in one place. It all adds up to a family friendly affair catering, but not exclusive, to the colorful tiki-torch crowd who will be displaying their Hawaiian shirt collections with pride.
