The Analog to Digital Photography Group (A2D), one of Atlanta's longest-running and most respected collective of photographers, proudly presents Moments in Light, a month-long exhibition celebrating the artistry, vision, and storytelling power of photography. Featuring the work of photographers whose mutual experience spans decades, Moments in Light showcases a diverse collection of images that capture the beauty, emotion, and significance of the world around us. From sweeping landscapes and compelling portraits to intimate moments, travel
imagery, wildlife, architecture, and documentary photography, each image reflects a unique perspective and a shared passion for visual storytelling.
Founded more than twenty-six years ago, A2D has grown from a small gathering of photographers into a vibrant creative community dedicated to learning, mentoring, artistic growth, and fellowship.The exhibition highlights the breadth of talent within the group and offers visitors an opportunity to experience the images that have inspired, challenged, and defined the photographers' journeys."Photography allows us to preserve moments that might otherwise be lost to time," said the exhibition committee. "These images represent more than technical achievement; they represent personal observation and perception and desire to share those experiences, discoveries, and stories that continue to resonate long after the shutter is released." Hosted by the Chastain Arts Center & Gallery at Chastain Park, one of Atlanta's premier visual arts venues, Moments in Light invites visitors to explore the many ways photography can illuminate our
world and deepen our understanding.Guests attending Opening Night on September 10 will have the opportunity to meet participating
photographers, learn the stories behind the images, and enjoy an evening celebrating photographic
art. Selected works will be available for purchase throughout the exhibition.
