From the venue:

Fifteen-year-old Malou (Femke Vanhove) excels at her small town’s rowing club, but away from the water she struggles to find her place. Her mother is frequently absent, her teammates bully and exclude her, and the only person with whom she can truly be herself is her brother, Max. When Malou develops feelings for Max’s girlfriend, Nouria (Lina Miftah), she becomes caught in a complicated triangle of desire, rivalry and loyalty. Set over a turbulent summer, Cecilia Verheyden’s tender coming-of-age drama follows Malou as she searches for the courage to embrace her identity—even if doing so threatens the relationship she treasures most.
