Monday Night Creative Music Series: Bragg/Crouch/Terebecki + Visitor (Blake Helton)

From the venue:

Guitarist Colin Bragg, trumpeter Jeff Crouch, and drummer Mike Terebecki create sophisticated yet immediate music that blends cool, lyrical jazz with electric guitar textures, electronic effects, driving grooves, and open improvisation. Inspired by adventurous ensembles such as Jack DeJohnette’s New Directions, the Paul Motian Trio, and Dave Douglas’s Tiny Bell Trio, the group explores the guitar-trumpet-drums format through spacious atmospheres, powerful rhythmic excursions, and a spirit of spontaneity and discovery.

Visitor is the moniker of Blake Helton, an Atlanta, Georgia-based musician with a deep respect for cosmic soundtrack music and sonic voyages the likes of Klaus Schulze, Tangerine Dream, John Carpenter/Alan Howarth, Goblin, Cluster, Brian Eno and Andy Williams.
