Play Synopsis: Witch Cake is a witch trial told from the eyes of the accused. In the neocolonial dystopia of New Kempstead, three women fight for survival as they are pulled into an oppressive system designed to identify, punish, and eliminate them. A story of gender, power, belief, and ritual, Witch Cake asks: how do you survive a system designed to destroy you?
Playwright: Melissa Simmons
