Piper & The Hard Times
Piper & the Hard Times are a Nashville-based blues and roots band blending the soul of vintage blues with the edge of modern rock. Led by charismatic frontman Al “Piper” Green, the group delivers high-energy performances rooted in blues, R&B, soul and rock, highlighted by dynamic improvisation and melodic hooks. In 2024, they won first place at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis and released their debut album, Revelation, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Blues Chart. With guitarist Steve Eagon and drummer Dave Colella rounding out the trio, the band brings decades of musical chemistry to the stage, channeling personal stories, gospel power and deep blues traditions into every performance.
