Diane Durrett

Diane Durrett is an internationally recognized singer, songwriter, and producer based in Atlanta, known for her soulful blend of blues, roots, and Southern influences. With a career spanning over three decades, she has released ten albums, including her upcoming 2024 release Sweet Georgia Blues, recorded with her band Soul Suga’ and featuring guest appearances from Tinsley Ellis, Eddie 9 Volt, and GRAMMY-winning trombonist Craig Klein. Durrett’s powerful voice and heartfelt songwriting have earned her critical acclaim, chart success, and opportunities to perform with artists such as Sting, Gregg Allman, and the Indigo Girls. Beyond performing, she is active in music advocacy and education, serving as President of the Recording Academy’s Atlanta Chapter and founding Blooming Tunes Music for artist development. Her work reflects a lifelong connection to Georgia’s musical roots and a commitment to uplifting her community through music.
