After early success touring with artists like Jerry Reed, Tanya Tucker, and Robert Palmer, he spent a decade in East Nashville, where exposure to a vibrant singer-songwriter community deepened his focus on songwriting. Now based in the Atlanta area, Oswald draws inspiration from modern troubadours like Jason Isbell and Tyler Childers, emphasizing storytelling, lyrical craft, and personal growth. His music reflects themes of peace and resilience, showcased in his live performances and his 2019 release Hung Up Wet.
