Chattahoochee Handweavers Guild

Nonprofit Fiber Arts Organization

Established in 1955, CHG offers a wide variety of weaving and other fiber arts classes that are taught throughout the year on a quarterly schedule. The Winter Quarter is generally January – March, Spring Quarter from April – June, Summer Quarter from July to August/September and a fall term from Sept to December. Not all classes are offered every term. Classes are available for adults ages 18 and older.

Much of the Guild’s strength and appeal comes from a diverse membership of professional weavers, those who weave primarily for pleasure and self-fulfillment, teachers, students, and beginners. In fact, anyone with an interest in weaving and textile arts is welcome to join CHG. The Guild is the perfect place to meet other fiber enthusiasts, learn new techniques, exchange creative ideas, and find inspiration.
