The different colors of the inlays are the natural color of the different wood types used (purple heart, canary wood,...). The tile is made of clay and is removable for easy cleaning. The tile is specific for each wood piece and is not interchangeable. The tile is not fully leveled with the board so that it can also be used as a hot surface. It is recommended to clean the board with hot water and avoid soap. From time to time apply some butcher or mineral oil. Do not clean them in the dishwasher.
