Just behind the Varsity lies a place where soul, R&B and hip-hop got its beginnings in Atlanta. The APACHE CAFE has the cheap PBRs that you can find in East Atlanta, but it also features first-rate talent like power-piped Dionne Farris, indie rappers Sol Uprising, cocksure bassist Divinity and the rock-meets-funk-meets-soul stylings of Whild Peach.
