This year the festival doubled past attendance records, bringing in more than 13,000 people. One reason was the festival’s move to Regal’s Hollywood 24 multiplex, which increased the number of seats available. But another big draw was the 160 feature films and shorts on tap, including the festival opener, “Hedwig and the Angry Inch.”
