The Blue Ridge Mountain Range extends from Georgia thru Pennsylvania and includes the Blue Ridge Parkway is a scenic roadway and the Appalachian Trail which is a favorite of hikers. In Virginia, the Blue Ridge Mountain Range is marked by the Shenandoah National Park and in Tennessee by the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. In Georgia, the town of Blue Ridge is a good starting place to pick up the mountain range.
