Goldyard drop 'Briknik,' announce 'Fuck Culture 3' release
MC's A.T. and In-Doe get trippy in new visual
With Fuck Culture 2, Goldyard released one of the more underrated local hip-hop albums of the year. Thematically the project is a bit murkier than their exceptional predecessor, Fuck Culture EP, but the FC2 finds In-Doe and A.T. at the most lyrically comfortable point in their careers.
? embed-1Earlier this week, the group premiered the visuals for "Briknik," one of the standout cuts from FC2. Directed by Renn Brown and Nathan Bob, the drippy, puddle-heavy treatment features skulls, rain, and, oh, plenty of gold. Duh.
?
? Be on the lookout for more from Goldyard, including a performance at Union in East Atlanta Village on Mon., Aug. 31, as part of a screening premiere for Big Cheeko's single, "Trees." The group will soon release videos for the songs, "Hmmm," "Runnin' Shit" featuring Trinidad Jame$, and the Outfit-assisted "Buenos Dias."
?
? In other news, Producer Flick James will be headed on tour with Funk Volume this fall, and the group hopes to have Fuck Culture 3 done and dropped by the end of October. In the meantime, you can download FC2 here.
