On Tuesday, July 8, folk artist, musician, and all-around insightful guy Lonnie Holley will play what he says may be his last show in Atlanta this year. While his Dust-to-Digital recordings are certainly worth seeking out, his live shows can be an absolute hoot. On this occasion, he'll be joined by guitarist Marshall Ruffin and vocalist Doria Roberts (who are also opening the show) as well as some horn players. Bid Mr. Holley Adieu before he heads off on a late summer European tour.

Lonnie Holley with Marshall Ruffin and Doria Roberts. $10-$15. 8 p.m. Tues., July 8. Eddie's Attic. 404-377-4976. www.eddiesattic.com. 404-377-4976.
