Waka Flocka's slain protoge Slim Dunkin, on the occupational hazards of street life

I don't start no trouble

?
Brick Squad affiliate and Waka Flocka Flame protégée Slim Dunkin was killed at an East Atlanta recording studio on the set of a video shoot Friday night when a verbal altercation turned violent, according to WSB-TV.

?
Atlanta Police believe someone arguing with the victim, whose real name is Mario Hamilton, produced a handgun and shot him in the chest.

?
The Clayton County rapper, who stood six feet eight inches tall, released his latest mixtape, Twin Towerz 2 (No Fly Zone), with Waka Flocka in August.

?
While Waka and his Brick Squad affiliates have been known to get into potentially violent altercations in the past, such as last year's Walter's shootout, they usually avoid tragedy. In a 2010 interview with Ozone magazine's Ms. Rivercity, Slim Dunkin addressed the perception that his crew has a tendency to attract trouble:

?
Ms. Rivercity: Sometimes trouble does seem to find you and your crew and all that. Is that something you think you bring on yourself or is that something, just ’cause people hating...?

?
Slim Dunkin: If anybody knows me though, they know I'm quiet as hell. I don't really talk, so ... for me to do anything to somebody it's gotta be provoked. I don't say nothing to nobody. Before this rap shit I wasn't talking to nobody. I walk in the club, I ain't looking at you, I ain't talking to nobody, I ain't shaking no hands. But then I became more of a people person when I started rapping, like damn I gotta start fuckin' with these folks just so they don't think I'm being a dickhead.
