Future

The Atlanta rap scene is a world of it’s own, and if you’re a native you are no stranger to the uniqueness. This past year you’ve probably gotten familiar to the standout voice of rapper Future with his constant shout outs and ad libs referring to his A1 FreeBandz crew or lifetsyle per say. Standing at least 6’0 tall with long dreads, wearing some flashy clothing label like D&G or Versace and a bottle of dirty Sprite in hand you can’t miss him. If you’re still confused of who he is exactly he can be heard on the chorus and second verse of the ever so clever smash “Racks On Racks” produced by Sonny Digital. His “Dirty Sprite” dropped on livemixtapes.com January 11th of this year and became an instant hit. Before you knew it Future was exposed not only to the city of Atlanta but everywhere imaginable. The soft spoken and casually arrogant Drake even made a remix to Future’s “Tony Montana”. He’s got an elusive appeal, one that can’t really be explained but is powerful enough to have everyone reciting his lyrics, cleaiming the A1 Freebandz lifestyle, or even up dancing and beefing it up to “Magic”, a favorite among many as well as the Orlando Magic’s Dwight Howard as he tweeted the lyrics. Right now there’s not a radio or club that won’t be playing his music. Seemingly he hasn’t let the fame and lime light go to his head, having dropped a mixtape this summer called “True Story” that received rave reviews. As well, he took the stage at the well known music event Birthday Bash in Atlanta where he took the stage in all white reminiscent of his good friend Gucci Mane, and had the crowd so-called “turnt up” alongside Young Jeezy, Lil Wayne, and Rocko. The latest from Future is his mixtape “Streetz Calling” that was dropped this fall. Future is no stranger to grind as you can tell by his lyrics and steady flow of new work.
