This has been circulating around the blogosphere for a few days, but it's worth a post because, well, it's awesome, and if you haven't heard it yet, you need to change that. Courtesy Mad Decent, here's mega-superstar-producer/M.I.A. co-habitator Diplo's glitchy take on Deerhunter's very excellent track "Helicopter" from the very excellent Halcyon Digest. (Buddy Lunice assists.) It's not so much an improvement on the song - because, and I'm serious, it's pretty much perfect in its original form - as an equally engrossing counterpart. Check it:
