Props to Don't Panic, notes to John Sugg
I would imagine that most e-mail responses you receive are either to disagree with you or because you struck a particular nerve with your last column. This isn't either. I just felt I should tell you that I appreciate your consistently informative articles and entertaining writing style.
I think in the last two years or so, you have only written one column that I really disagreed with your stance. It was the one on Thailand's military coup and even that was really only a question of tone.
More importantly (though it is hard to be objective since I do agree with you so often) I find Don't Panic to be the highlight of each issue of Creative Loafing.
I was wondering if you had a weblog, a MySpace page or some other venue where you contribute articles. I would like to read more of your work.

P.S. Again not current, but thank you for changing your picture. Though I know I should have known better, I too assumed you were a Muslim woman.
When I first read about CL's acquisition I wrote a rather nasty letter to Ben Eason, in which I asked him not to spread the crap he turned CL into (mission: to help urban explorers? What, to find a loft?). I did not send it (my spiritual side got the better of me).
Thank you for your editorial (Metropolis, "Fear and loafing on the way to moguldom," Aug. 2). I think it said what I was thinking and you did it without calling him an asshole once. That must be why you make the big dollars.

Just read your article on the Bloomberg lawsuits against Georgia gun dealers (cover story, "Bang! You're sued," July 26). One question: Are you truly a "pistol-packing ..." member of the NRA? I almost assumed the "full disclosure" blurb at the end of the article was meant to be tongue-in-cheek.
Please let me know. It wasn't clear to me whether this was in jest or a real disclosure. Overall, I'd say you managed to keep a pretty even keel in this piece. Kudos. Please keep seriously considering both sides of the issue in the future.
