News - Midtown Blue Public Safety Forum

Worried about walking through Midtown at night? The Midtown Alliance will sponsor a public safety forum Wed., Oct. 12. The event will offer neighborhood residents and business owners the opportunity to discuss concerns with representatives of the Atlanta Police Department and Midtown Blue, a privately funded security force made up of off-duty and retired Atlanta cops who patrol Midtown. One of the topics up for discussion is the installation of surveillance cameras at several intersections in Midtown to monitor traffic and criminal activity.
