Atlanta’s Brian Bannon is my favorite stand-up comedian. In a year when the most popular comedian in the country is a dude/bro (Dane Cook) whose act consists of phony frat-boy bonhomie and the intentional mispronunciation of the word sandwich, Bannon is a breath of angry, bitter, smart, uncomfortable air.</
Last week, Bannon was the guest monologist at the Doug Dank Project improv show. We also visited Atlanta soulman Anthony David at Center Stage and the educational refugee camp erected in Piedmont Park by humanitarians Doctors Without Borders.
