1. Wanna vote for the regional transportation tax on July 31? You need be sure you're registered to vote. Today. And if not today, then before July 2.

2. The New York Times' David Segal this weekend bravely ventured where many of us fear to tread: the privatized city government known as Sandy Springs.

3. State and local agencies are having a difficult time complying with parts of Georgia's new immigration law. Specifically, the provision that requires them to verify contractors are allowed to work in the United States.
