A movie about becoming a Master Sommelier now playing at the Plaza Theatre on Ponce
Jason Wise’s Somm follows a handful of ambitious sommeliers - Brian McClintic, DLynn Proctor, Dustin Wilson, and Ian Cauble - in their journey to pass the hardest test in the world of wine: the Master Sommelier Exam. All of them, and those who have passed it the past, describe it in some way or another as “the hardest thing they have ever done.” The test is broken up into three parts: theory, service, and, the most difficult part, the blind tasting. Do they all pass? You’ll have to watch to find out. The movie is now playing at the Plaza Theatre on Ponce.
