- Tapa Tapa opening pushed to July 2
Though Tapa Tapa, the new small plates restaurant from Diem Restaurant Group, was originally slated to soft-open on June 12 at 931 Monroe Drive, its debut has been delayed due to holdups with the liquor licensing process. The restaurant, which will feature about a dozen rotating menu items, finally received full clearance from the city on June 18, and owner Andy Alibaksh now plans to open on July 2 instead. Brian Obermeyer, formerly of Roswell's Pastis, has been installed as executive chef.
