? Here to Serve Restaurants announced that Aja, its Buckhead Asian fusion concept that opened in 2008, closed Sept. 6. The Atlanta-based restaurant group's presser said the closing was “in the interest of the betterment of the company.”

? Rezagarse Tapas has opened in the former Carpe Diem space at the Ice House Lofts at 105 Sycamore Place in Decatur. Rezagarse – a Spanish verb meaning "to linger," "to take one’s time," and "an unwillingness to leave" – bills itself as a “fusion of the traditional Spanish tapas restaurants, serving homemade creations, along with selected local ingredients from Georgia.”

? According to its website, Brash, the Chattanooga-based organically-sourced coffee shop, is now slated to open at the Westside Provisions District by mid-September.

For those of you who prefer music and a meal from their favorite eatery, Venkman’s (740 Ralph McGill Blvd.), the new dining and entertainment concept from Nicholas Niespodziani and Peter Olson of Yacht Rock Revue and local chef Nick Melvin, will open its doors in Atlanta’s Old Fourth Ward on Mon., Sept. 14.

? Brezza Cucina is the name of star chef Jonathan Waxman’s Ponce City Market Italian eatery, according to What Now Atlanta. Waxman will open Brezza Cucina adjacent to Williams-Sonoma in the mixed-use development. This is a new concept for Waxman whose previous Italian restos are Barbuto in New York and Adele’s in Nashville. (And, as first rumored here, Adam Evans will helm the kitchen of Brezza as chef and partner.)

? The Atlanta Business Chronicle’s 2015 Top 25 Restaurants lists Chops Lobster Bar of Buckhead Life Restaurant Group as the No. 1 ATL resto based on 2014 sales of $15.81 million. Chops’ sibling, Atlanta Fish Market, clocks in at number two with $13.5 million in sales.
