A service-oriented restaurant called Scout will open in the former McGowan’s space (321 West Hill St.) this summer. The concept features local Southern ingredients and redefined classic comfort foods along with a commitment to craft cocktails and seasonal brews.

Ju-Tox Juice Bar and Wellness Center will open a new location at 200 Peachtree St. N.W. in the second week of April. According to What Now Atlanta, the "top-of-the-line" juice bar, which has a current location in Buckhead, will serve up organic, cold-press juices as well as customized juice cleanse treatments.

The team behind Sivas Xpress will open Caravaca Market, a restaurant with a bakery, a coffee bar, and a wine and cheese retail shop, this fall at the new 780 Peachtree St. development in Midtown. The concept, created by chef/restaurateur/TV personality Harry Pagancoss and his business partner Kemal Karsli, will feature “hot and cold small plates influenced by both Spanish and Latin American culinary traditions.”

Souper Jenny's revamped flagship resto at the Atlanta History Center is slated to open this Sat., April 2, according to What Now Atlanta. The new location will have a full coffee bar serving Batdorf & Bronson coffee. Museum admission is not required for dining, and Super Jenny’s customers will be able to make use of the Atlanta History Center’s free parking deck.

On Sun., May 1, Beetlecat sous chef Alex Windover and his wife, Sarah, will host a pop-up dinner called Night Shift at Avondale Market. The dinner will feature "hyper-seasonal" menu of five to seven courses, according to Eater.
