Mediterranean concept Kipos Hellenic Kitchen will take over the vacant space left after the January closure of American Food and Beverage at The Shops Buckhead Atlanta. Expect “fresh and robust Greek village foods” modeled after owner Giorgios Bakatsias’s childhood, such as lamb youvetsi, moussaka, grilled octopus, and souvlaki. Kipos will be located just a few feet away from fellow neighborhood newcomer Taverna.
Revolution Gelato will soon become a permanent resident of East Atlanta Village's Global Grub Collective. Revolution, which was previously sold only online and through select retailers, could be fully operational "within four weeks, or possibly even sooner,” according to Eater.
Brezza Cucina has launched a Southern-inspired all-you-can-eat brunch service. The buffet-style lineup includes buttermilk pancakes with seasonal fruit, shrimp and grits, baked frittata, kale salad, and a savory antipasto plate. Cocktails include mimosa rossa, Campari mimosa, and peach sangria. Brunch will go from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

New casual-yet-upscale Italian concept Rize Artisan Pizza + Salads has filed plans for space at 664 Seminole Ave. N.E. in the 675 N. Highland mixed-use development in Poncey-Highland, reports What Now Atlanta.
After much anticipation, City Winery Atlanta will open on Fri., June 3 at Ponce City Market.
Hadyn Hilton, creator of Atlanta’s second cat café, has renamed her café Java Cats. The new name was chosen via popular vote as part of her Kickstarter campaign. The concept was previously called Catlanta Café.
The Real Chow Baby’s Mike Blum plans to open One Rooster, a Mongolian restaurant, in that same space on the Westside later this month or early in June. In addition to the make-your-own stir-fry line, the 180-seat restaurant will offer seated table service from set menu. The drink selection includes Polynesian cocktails, shaved ice drinks, bubble teas, and domestic and international beers and wines.
Bombay Brasserie, an upscale boutique Indian restaurant, will open in Mansell Oaks Plaza at 900 Mansell Road near the corner of Alpharetta Highway. The menu features traditional Indian fare, such as chicken tikka masala, vegetable pakoras, and meat samosas. The restaurant plans to add more innovative dishes that incorporate Chinese, European, and American techniques.
