— Last week the Falcons released a brand-new Rise Up! commercial that is packed with celebrities and, dare I say, a healthy-dose of awesome. If you aren’t moved by it, your heart is made of stone!

— According to a neighborhood document procured by Your Correspondent, the NBC TV movie “Gamers” was filming all week at 141 Magnum Street. Anyone spot them?

— “Say Yes to the Dress” is back to filming in town, according to folks on Twitter who are getting a piece of the action.

— Check out Atlanta Magazine’s cover story on Atlanta as the Hollywood of the South, plus a look at the history of Hollywood in Atlanta.

— Gordon Ramsey’s “Kitchen Nightmares” is filming in Atlanta and was at Michon’s all week.

— Support Atlanta filmmaking: Season 3 of the locally-filmed “The Vampire Diaries” began last night on the CW!

— Looks like Georgia filming is expanding: Governor Deal has named twenty-three more counties as “Camera Ready Communities.”

— Jennifer over at @AJCBuzz had some star-sightings for us this week: Brooklyn Decker and Andy Roddick at Spice Market, plus Beau Bridges dining solo and reading a script at Shout and Aja while he was here for Dragon*Con.

— How many of you have been to see Contagion? Apparently it “cleaned up at box office with first place! The movie was partly filmed in Atlanta at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.”
