Charlie and Lyla, pit bull mixes
Shelter Angels just got these two puppies out of DeKalb County Animal Control last week. They were brought in by their owner, and the shelter typically euthanizes dogs that are surrendered by their owners. These pups were literally in the euthanization room when the vet walked in, saw them and called the rescue. They’re now safely in foster homes and doing well. They’re about four months old. Charlie is brown and white, and very smart and outgoing. Lyla has a distinct silver coat, so she might be mixed with Weimaraner. She’s shy and quiet, but warms up once she gets to know you.
