They call Atlanta the city too busy to hate. Our comedy scene is certainly always busy with new shows popping up all over town like car boots. Luckily, Midtowners can walk or bike to the newest stand-up showcase right off of Piedmont Park when Red Light Cafe opens its doors for Prayer Requests. This short-and-sweet lineup features Atlanta’s funniest comedians including Michael Rowland, Neal Reddy and headliner Lace Larrabee. Double-trouble hosting duo Powell Mansfield and Katherine Blanford helm this ship and will be taking your prayer requests throughout the evening, because we could all use a little help.

$5-$10. 8:30 p.m. Thurs., Nov. 16. Red Light Cafe, 553-1 Amsterdam Ave. N.E. www.redlightcafe.com.
