Evidence backs allegations that DeKalb Commissioner sexually assaulted assistant
‘It’s either ride or die or goodbye’
DeKalbCountyGa.govThe Georgia county constantly mired in corruption scandals could be adding another demerit to its rap sheet. Recently probed audio and text evidence support suspicions that DeKalb County Commissioner Greg Adams sexually harassed an employee, according to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
The alleged victim, former District Director Ashlee Wright, assistant to his District 7 office, produced text messages and voice recordings that suggest Adams repeatedly asked Wright to send him images of her in swimwear, professed his love to her, made multiple late-night booty calls, and ultimately told her “it’s either ride or die or goodbye,” according to Decaturish.
Wright is vying for a $750,000 settlement from DeKalb.
