But wait there’s more!

Thrash-punk legends D.R.I. wreak havoc in the pit at the Masquerade

Dirty Rotten Imbeciles have lived on the road since fleeing Houston for the greener pastures of San Francisco’s head banging scene circa 1982. Over the years, albums such as Dealing With It, Crossover, and Four of a Kind set the standard for thrash/punk crossover. Guitarist Spike Cassidy’s high-speed assaults and singer Kurt Brecht’s raspy, skate-punk bark take aim at authority while wreaking havoc in the pit. When Brecht screams the mantra from “Five Year Plan” — “I lose, you win” — the gut-wrenching power is as raw today as it was at the height of the Reagan era. Bonus, the group is packing a handful of newer numbers from 2016’s But Wait There’s More EP.
