Mark Hosler brings 'Escape From Noise' to the Bakery
The Negativeland co-founder reaches a new high culture in jamming
As a member of seminal sound collage collective Negativland, Mark Hosler contributed to some of the most ground-breaking music created in the late ’80s and early ‘90s. On his own, Hosler continues in that tradition, laying out a table of gadgets, pedals, and various electronics for a face-melting good time. His live shows feature disembodied voices and deconstructed beats floating over Dadaist soundscapes as listeners question their own perception of reality.
