NEWS BRIEF: Gwinnett schools paying staff to get vaccinated

Georgia’s largest school district is offering its staff a $500 incentive to get vaccinated against COVID-19. The Gwinnett County Public Schools system, with 179,943 students, is also partnering with neighboring counties to hold pop-up vaccine clinics. In an official statement, it was announced, “In light of the recent surge in cases, GCPS is once again emphasizing the importance of vaccinations by providing a staff incentive and partnering with the Health Department to provide additional mobile vaccination clinics in our school communities.” georgiahealthnews.com
