The Savannah College of Art & Design has announced the refurbishment and unveiling of a large-scale mural on a basketball court at Arthur Langford, Jr. Park in the Joyland neighborhood of southeast Atlanta. The inaugural Paint Our Parks project was a team effort of over 40 volunteers led by SCAD alumni and muralist Emily Eldridge. A press release stated they all wanted to create “this vibrant showpiece to celebrate the arts and for the neighborhood to enjoy.” scad.edu
