NEWS BRIEF: Tin Lizzy’s Cantina in Buckhead catches fire
There are three other Tin Lizzy’s locations in the Atlanta-area.
Tuesday morning around 6:00 a.m., Atlanta firefighters responded to a call that the Buckhead-location of Tin Lizzy’s Cantina had caught fire. Thankfully, no one was inside the building while it was on fire, but the structure sustained severe damage.
11Alive News claimed, “an exterior wall was completely charred.” In order to fight the fire, crew members had to remove portions of the building’s roof. Once inside, the fire was contained in three to five minutes.
There are three other Tin Lizzy’s locations in the Atlanta-area.
Southern Proper Hospitality Group, operators of Tin Lizzy’s Cantina, released a statement on the incident that said, “There was a fire at our Buckhead location of Tin Lizzy’s last night at 3639 Piedmont Road. We are working with the fire department and investigators to determine the cause and the damage. We are grateful that no one was in the building at the time. This location will be closed today as we assess the situation and will keep everyone updated as we know more.” 11alive.com
