Exhibit: The Collection of Sue & John Wieland, The Warehouse

Sat., Dec. 13
The Collection of Sue & John Wieland, The Warehouse — This impressive private collection has more than 400 artworks and can be viewed by the public for free on the second Saturday of each month. The collectors are John and Sue Wieland and their aim, they say, is to “explore the rich and multiple themes of house and home” with ceramics, paintings, fiber art, sculpture, and videos. Works by Howard Finster, Roy Lichtenstein, and Radcliffe Bailey are included in the vast display. The Warehouse, located on Atlanta’s Westside, covers 37,000 square-feet and was formerly used to store furniture. It’s open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with docent tours at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. — Kevin C.
