T. rex: The Ultimate Predator at Fernbank Museum of Natural History
Fernbank brings visitors face-to-jaws with T. rex through models, fossil casts and interactive dinosaur experiences.
T. rex: The Ultimate Predator at Fernbank Museum of Natural History takes visitors inside the world of one of the most famous dinosaurs ever discovered.
The exhibition introduces the wider tyrannosaur family and follows how Tyrannosaurus rex grew from a small, fluffy hatchling into a towering apex predator. Life-sized models, fossil casts and reconstructions help show how these animals lived, moved and evolved during the Mesozoic era.
Hands-on elements give the experience extra bite, including a roar mixer, an immersive shadow theater and a life-sized animation of T. rex that responds to visitor movement. Whether guests are lifelong dinosaur fans or new fossil explorers, the exhibit brings the king of dinosaurs roaring back to life.
Dates: June 13 – September 7, 2026
