ArtsXchange presents Sonic Impressions: Abstract Art Inspired by Music, a group exhibition exploring the connections between sound, memory, rhythm, and visual expression.

Bringing together artists working in abstract and non-figurative modes, the exhibition examines how music can be translated into visual form through color, texture, movement, composition, and material experimentation. Rather than depicting instruments, performers, or recognizable musical scenes, participating artists use abstraction to investigate how rhythm, tempo, harmony, improvisation, and sonic memory can influence artistic creation.

The exhibition invites artists to draw inspiration from a wide range of musical traditions including jazz, hip-hop, classical, gospel, ambient, and experimental music. These influences become conceptual frameworks that shape visual language, allowing artists to create works that echo the emotional and structural qualities of sound.

Sonic Impressions encourages visitors to experience the intersection of listening and looking, asking how auditory experiences can be transformed into visual ones.
