DOUBLE TAKE at Spalding Nix Fine Art

Spalding Nix Fine Art presents DOUBLE TAKE, a summer exhibition featuring four distinct solo presentations by Corrina Sephora, Betty Edge, Guy Robinson, and Erin Dixon.

Through sculpture, painting, photography, and mixed media, the exhibition explores themes of memory, perception, reflection, transformation, and human experience through four unique artistic perspectives.

In Reflections on the Universe, Corrina Sephora combines metal sculpture and mixed-media painting to investigate ancestral memory and cosmic reflection. Betty Edge's Encore revisits photographs from throughout her career, placing unexpected pairings of images from the natural world into dialogue with one another.

Guy Robinson's Animism, Alchemy & Reflection presents surrealist oil paintings populated by animals, botanicals, patterns, and everyday objects. Erin Dixon's On Both Sides of the Door features oil paintings that examine familiar and unfamiliar spaces as visual metaphors for instability, vulnerability, adaptation, and contemporary life.
